Trouble running minecraft (lol)

I am having some issues running minecraft. When i chop trees down/break blocks etc they stay there for a second then disappear. This is not on a multiplayer game so it cant be a connection issue. Another thing that happens is when i am running it sometimes freezes for like 5 seconds or so.. My java is up to date etc.

Make sure you are running 64bit java, also try allocate more ram to the game

lol minecraft is like the hardest game to run. The graphics are ahead of its time.

and a better hard drive i think a 4tb one will be fast enough

Make sure you run them in RAID 0.
