got thermal paste on mobo.

I was very nervous about everything in my first build and put too thermal paste on and it dripped on the motherboard circuit and around the cpu on the little green square,I have used  cotton swab and can no longer see any on the mobo circuit I can still see faint smidgeons on the green square on the outside of the cpu.

My motherboard is the asus maximus vi hero and it went on the side that the ram is at,actually heres a diagram:
