let it run and see if there is any progress

 

the rate of how it does the de-fragmentation depends on the age and speed of the drive

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Try getting something other than that... Defrags don't usually take 24 hours unless it's a really slow, large drive or the drive is nearing the end of its life...
