Using a blue yeti and a Siberia V2 at the same time?

Thomas1208

Okay, my birthday is coming up soon and I'm debating on getting a blue yeti, i already own a Siberia v2 headset and that awesome and all but i feel like the microphone fails a little, the actually sound they deliver is perfect but my real question is, Can I use a blue yeti as my microphone and use my Siberia's for my sound?

P.S If this is possible, Is their any better microphones like blue yeti out there?

Would this work on programs like Skype, steam etc?

just disable the Siberia's mic input in the recording devices tab.

and set the yeti as the default device

It is possible as far as I know. Just plug in the cord of that Blue Yeti, and leave the cord of your Headset's Mic. It should work fine.

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.

you set what device to use in the programs, or you can just disable it in sound options

I use a Blue Snowball and Siberia V2 separately, change the default recording device to the Snowball/Yeti. Alternatively, individual VoIP programs let you do that manually (Skype, Vent, Teamspeak, etc).
