Hi, I am having small stuttering issues in games where my CPU (Intel Core i5 4670K) is being used a lot. I have noticed this in Titanfall, Far Cry 3, AC3 and 4, and Crysis 3. There is one game I tested that doesn't have this problem which is Sonic Generations. Is there any way to fix this?

Specs:

GPU: GTX 780 SC

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K

RAM: 8GB DDR3

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

PSU: Corsair CX600M

Try updating your Geforce drivers.

a 4670k is never going to bottleneck a 780 unless it's getting too hot and throttling.

if you're using a stock cooler, get something better

I am using a Hyper 212 Evo, I have the latest nvidia drivers. Would updating the BIOS cause these problems?

try turning down shadows, shadows and post-processing can cause excessive CPU usage IIRC

Is Titanfall really that demanding? Also the stutter only happens occasionally while turning the camera.

Some people have solved stutter like this by unparking their cpu cores

EDIT: that would work for windows 7 only btw

Is this normal frametime? I tested with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. The crazy high spikes might be when the game was on a loading screen or menu, look at the area in the middle. 15chk68.png

I played through Call of Juarez Gunslinger on my gtx 760 and usually get around 100fps
