So when my computer boots it says it shows that the time is not set properly and such and I can reset my bios or do nothing and continue and my time will not be saved and continue counting only when my PC is on..

For example I set it off at 20:00

and when I restart my PC the next day it starts at 20:01 and goes on.

My Cmos battery is more than four years old right now so that basically means I have to replace it, rightt?

I did already take it out and put it back in but that didn't result in anything different.

Thanks :-)

Replace it and see what happens. You can go into the BIOS/UEFI and play around with the time.

Sure sounds like the Cmos battery needing a replacement.

Replace it and that should fix it.

There's also a wierd thing where my keyboard suddenly doesn't work in the BIOS so I have to unplug my keyboard each time before booting up my PC.

I guess I'll buy a new battery with similar specifications.

Yeah, 100% just a dead CMOS, hence you can't save the time. A new CR2032 is like, $2-$6 depending where you go.

Fun fact: the CR2032 is used in a lot of things besides the CMOS, from watches, to key FOBs.
