Marvell Controller to Intel Controller?

I just noticed my SSD has Marvell Controllers, but my Z77 board has both Intel and Marvel controllers for Sata 3.  But, because as I understand it the Intel controllers are better on my mobo I have the SSD attached to the Intel controller Sata.  

My question is, if anyone knows, would it be better to mate the Marvell SSD controller with the Marvell controller on my board or just keep it with the Intel one it's already on?

Marvell Sata controllers are crap. just use intel's.
