Hello guys!

Greeting from Japan.

I have some problems with my video card.

Hope someone can help me.

Only one gpu of my XFX R9 295X2 can showed in the system.

And the crossfire option cannot be found in the Catalyst Control Center.

Everything was fine when I just bought it.

But one day, when I was watching video on the Internet, my PC cut off its power suddenly. And it restarted after a few seconds.

After a few days, I noticed that only one gpu of my video card was working.

Dose it means that the video card is broken?

Could somebody help me?

Here is my PC spec:

Memory: Crucial CT102464BA160B x2

Motherboard: Gigabyte H97M-Gaming 3

SSD: Kingston SH103S3240G & Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB

Check your wire connections, if that's not it then check your crossfire bridge, and finally your drivers, if all else fails your card could be done

It's a 295X2, it's a dual GPU card and AMD cards don't require crossfire now.

You could always try re-seating the card, but that power cut-off can't be good :S

Doesn't one of the GPU's in the 295x2 shut off when not under load to save power?

What happens if you click the dropdown menu in GPU-Z? Does another 200 series come up?

No, still only one is showed.

Hmm. AMD have a zerocore thing that disables the 2nd GPU when it isn't needed. Try running something like Furmark or MSI Kombuster and seeing if something pops up.

I'd return the card if I was you as if it turned off randomly and now isn't functioning properly it might just be worth an RMA. Shame because those are awesome cards.. but sh*t happens.
