An R7 260X in CF is barely worth it. Performances gains are minimal between 10 ~ 20 fps on most games under ultra. And two of them costs about 90% of a R9 280X.

So here is the problem. I bought a Gigabyte R7 260X 2GB a few months back. I picked it up for $140 so it was a great deal and I am quite satisfied with my purchase, but the thing is I want a faster card. but I don't have the cash. I thought about selling my R7 260X  but no one wants to buy it. Even for $90 on ebay. (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/261541379839?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) I have even listed it quite a few times. I can't afford something like a r9 270x rights now. So I am thinking about buying a 2nd r7 260x. I am just wondering what type of performance to see.  Is there bad stuttering or lag? I play BF4, and plan on picking up far cry 4 and GTA V eventually. Besides that I don't play that demanding games. Just stuff like CS: Source, GMOD, Dota 2, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Is it worth it at all to crossfire them?

well with 260X CrossFire you get a performance similar to the R9 270/X

 

the AMD 14.4 drivers have reduce the micro-stutter but noticeable 

 

BF4 with Mantle will be alright

 

but FarCry 4 and GTA V will be a problem since they have issues with multi card setups

 

you may be stuck with running just one card in situations when CrossFire is not supported

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

but i think you can see how bad is WatchDogs with SLi/CF systems

op based on what you have said i dont really think you should buy until we see these games released and crossfireing 2 lowend cards like the 260x is not recomended

Tried to find videos or articles show the performance of Xfire 260x's but I wasn't able to find any
