Amd or Nvidia for my CPU?

I would like to know which is better to go with that goes with my CPU! CPU= AMD Phenom Quad core 9600 and monitor it acer x193w and would like to play games like tomb raider,bf4,skyrim and thief on med-high graphics! 

 

I was going to buy the HIS AMD r7 260x by the way

You might be better off going with HERS, not HIS. :P (JK)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

Your CPU is old and pretty shit now in days. Yes you should upgrade your CPU especially if you play online mutiplayer games.

Nope, just saying that if you DO upgrade your CPU down the line, do consider upgrading your GPU at that point. :)

just expect slightly lower fps from your GPU

 

because the CPU is not fast enough to feed the GPU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
