Hi guys!I'm thinking about buying a mouse pad but there are a lot of things I need to consider like DPI setting, weight and material.I've got a Logitech G500 (not S version) and I'm using with weights and 1200 DPI but the problem is some people say high dpi with light mouse and a hard pad is so good but others say it is bad.So which one's right? Now I'm playing BF 4 and I need to lift the mouse and to maneuver in a jet because of low DPI setting. So using a laser mouse with weights and high DPI on a cloth surface can be right?

There is no correct DPI setting. It's all preference. As is the mouse pad size and style. Hard pads tend to have less friction, making it easier to move the mouse at the cost of some control. Hard pads can be better for tracking depending on the sensor, but generally any black pad of any style will do just fine.

What you can do, however, is to go to Windows mouse settings, set the cursor speed to 6 / 11 notch (for proper 1:1 tracking) and disable the enhanced precision if it's not already disabled. After this, adjust the DPI in the mouse's own software to as low as possible while still being comfortable to use. Finally, adjust in-game sensitivity as needed.
