this is a cheap motherboard and the vrm are very bad on it and not heatsinked...it can run the fx-6300 at stock voltages but i wouldnt overclock the cpu on it, maybe you could see how far you could overclock the cpu on auto voltages, but dont dump excessive voltages on the cpu otherwise you will fry the vrm and this could very likely damage your cpu as well...

is there any other board available that you could afford on the 970 chipset? this one is pretty bad..

One of the worst AM3+ boards out :/

It can run. For how long before the VRMs burn out I couldn't tell you but it will run...

what happens if i can fine a custom heat sink for the vrm will it help reduce the heat?

yes it will but the VRM are still cheap and they will still throttle and blow up if you over-volt the CPU for overclocking.

yhea im not going to try over clocking and its my first time building a computer, next time in need to consult with someone.

you will be good with the FX-6300 at stock voltages, that won't mean you can't overclock the CPU at all just leave the voltage on auto and see from there...
