Tera fps issue

anyone else having issues with tera?

 

for some odd reason in cant run the game at max settings, when i do i average 45 fps with a lot of drops.

 

i have read stuff that there is a problem with nvidia and the game is that true?

 

or is it just simple my card cannot run the game maxed? its a 780ti with +150 offset.

It's very reliant on the CPU, but you have an i7 4770k, so you don't lack the horsepower to run it. I presume that it could be an Nvidia issue, is this just a sudden performance drop, or is it the first time trying to play the game?

it is the first time i am playing it. but i could be a cpu issue maybe

i have done that yes, but i average 80 now when im in a forest when the game isnt populated, when another person or multiple people show up my frames drop like crazy

Just looking in the web, a lot of Nvidia users are suffering with this game - people with different GTX cards, both older and newer ones. Seems it's mainly down to the game not liking Nvidia's drivers.

Anyhow, found this thread which could also help.

Well, i just checked. and well it hovers around 60% thats probably my problem

 

EDIT: i got tera to use 70-80% now, i average 120fps. but i did it by changing the minimum frames allowed to 200. then it gets me wondering why would it not use the other 20-30% of my gpu to get the 200? i find it odd why the game wont use all of it.

another point. in the character selection screen. i use all of the gpu, but when i hop in game it hovers around 70-80%? im finding this really odd......

 

EDIT: in some parts it till idles at around 60% which in turn causes my frames to drop down to the 40's again

Its a mmo, I usually don't like them but I have been plying this game like crazy

I play the game and my fps are always 60s, i have a shet cpu and a good gpu but game is fun just very grind hard. endgame now is just... to much almost will take 2-3 months to get max gear from scratch. But max gear is a joke its hardly better then Raid Gear. I play the AV server and am a guild leader if u need any help just let me know, send a message on here or if ur on my server in game

Yea I know its a grind, I don't mind it though, sadly enough I play on the tempest reach server. Wow I have no clue but I feel my CPU does nothing and causes fps hits
