H440 Airflow

Is the airflow bad? If you have something like a 290 would it run hotter than something like a 450D or Arc Midi R2?

Airflow should be better than a 450D are Arc Midi R2

 

So a 290 would probably perform a few degrees cooler.

From what I have read the H440 does have a slight airflow issue but it only makes things a few degrees hotter.

It's much more restricted than something like a Corsair 450D or Cooler Master N600, the difference is by a couple °C and can be minimized a lot if you get proper pressure optimized fans, something like 3 AP fans from silverstone on the front will get you decent airflow going on, Noctuas,  NoiseBlocker fans, Gentle Typhoons, and similar options have enough strength to fit air through those small holes. I wouldn't do a R9 290X crossfire in that case though.

U won't have a problem, I have that case, but crossfire without watercooling is a nono for that case. go with the arc midi2 or carbide540 if u want to sli/cf on air
