  Asus ROG POSEIDON GTX 780 3GB GDDR5 - £431 or  EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked 3GB GDDR5 - £369 + EK Water Blocks EK-FC780 - £90 or EXDISPLAY Asus GTX 780 Ti ROG MATRIX Platinum - £540 (box opened display unit, 90 day guarantee)

would be going into a watercooled rig, i like the looks of the poseidon much better, if they can perform similarly i would probably go for that, also the cheapest ones. The matrix is just a display unit on sale, usually goes for 1k, so it would be a bargain, not sure if i would actually use half its features tho :/ Which one should i get?

780ti definitely, it will perform better and the MATRIX Platinum overclocks like a beast. Although I would go for EVGA 780 ti Classified, but out of the 3 you mentioned the 780 ti.

The EVGA would cost 60 GBP more than the matrix one and also isnt available from the store i always get my stuff from. And them looks.... cant get over it. Thank you guys im going for it :)

Update: okay everything ordered, im going to postpone the watercooling build for now, going with H105 and upgrade later. also getting a new 760T, will post some pictures of the card, build and some benchmarks.

Having that much Vram would not matter in this case and wouldn't "future proof" anything.

Higher Vrams are generally for higher resolutions when it comes to gaming. The 780 can't really push anything higher than 1080p (or 1200p).

Having 6 gigs would only matter if OP got multiple 780s and put them in SLI.

Here is a good non-biased review of the  290 vs. 780 vs. 780Ti  OC and stock, if anyone is interested.

it does help with games like watch dogs or the upcoming gta5 wich do demand a lot of vram.. farcry 4 probarly also won't settle with 3gb

I'd go for the 780 Ti no matter what. As long as you can afford it it will be the fastest choice!

Watch Dogs is true beyond 1080p, but the rest is speculation. Pretty sure FC4 is using a slightly modified version of the Dunia engine which doesn't use much vram at

all.

Also going to a $650 GTX 780Ti this late in the game doesn't make much sense. Maxwell is right around the corner.
