I have a friend who has a $500 dollar budget, including shipping and taxes. What is the best laptop he can get for that? He's going to be using it for school, but is interested in light gaming such as lol and garrys mod

lol can be played with intel hd graphics with more than 30fps on max settings in 1080p

Find something with dedicated graphics.

If you're not concerned about heat, thickness, and battery life then an AMD APU would be a better choice, preferably an A10
