Euro Truck Simulator 2 turning trucks pink?

Anybody else experiencing this glitch? I go to the paint shop, and change color, I drive for a while, I realize my truck has turned HOT PINK. WTF?? And any paintjob I attempt to try just changes back to pink, wasting my money. Is this some glitch inside the game I don't know about?

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

what version? maybe it's outdated, it's and old problem

1.7.0. I know, it's old. But steam won't update it. It claims that I didn't own it, even tho I fucking do.

There was 1.9.24? I thought it went up to only 1.7.10.

There is a newer version which will fix the problem. I had the same problem when I played the older version.

Problem is, it's the Steam version, and it won't fucking update!!!1

Illegal/pirated versions of ETS2 have this "bug".

Assuming you're not using the pirated version, incompatible mods also trigger this bug.
