CPU fan doesn't work

Hello...

 

I have a problem my Friend build his own computer for the first time and now the cpu fan is not working... It is an "Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev. 2"

I have already found many of posts on other forums that it is working after some time when the CPU is getting hot.. But now we reached 60° C and we don't want to go any further...

What do you mean it isn't working? Is the fan spinning?

try a different port?

It is not spinning... The other CPU fan port is only a 3 pin port but we need a 4 pin, or can i use that also?

Is it plugged in?  Yes you can use that port.

i have tried the other cpu fan port with 3 pins and doesn't work either...

I am plugging it in the right way.... It is working fine and we can get the BIOS...

Is the cable defective? Do you have another cables? Try another fan?

the fan is spinning the first half second when i start up the pc and freezes then... so i think the cable is working

Try a different fan anyway.

It sounds to me like the mobo is just not telling the fan to be on. Go into the BIOS and see if there's anything like a fan profile or something, smart fan maybe, and try setting the fan to constant.
