What's wrong with VGA

Admiaczking

I see VGA getting criticized a lot here and am wondering what I should be using as opposed to it? DVI-D? HDMI? I just ordered a new Asus VE228H so I would like to know if I should buy a new cable for it such as an HDMI cable or something.

VGA is analog supposedly the picture is worse but to be perfectly honest I did not say a massive difference unless gaming. Your monitor should include at least a DVI cable in the box if it has multiple outputs.

Crap quality, having to adjust everything all the time to get it perfect. Nothing pisses me off more than hitting the auto adjust setting by accident on my monitor because VGA can't be digital.

Some VGA only monitors handle VGA quite well but the quality is supposedly worse in most cases.
