Ya it is fine for 2 way sli and its good for overclocking all msi boards are decent at it

I'm not sure about overclocking it to the max but your cooler will probably fail to keep the temps low before you can have trouble with the motherboard. It should be fine for sli. I have the same motherboard and I have my 3570k at 4.6ghz.

G45 is a great motherboard for a midrange budget, consider the GD-55 as it's normally only $20 more.
