Hi! Guy im having a english exsam on next couple of weeks so maybe any of you can help me.

I need to talk about a topic called *INVENTIONS*and why teens today tout technologi is the best invention today if there are even beter ones like the wheel or the zipper.

So you need to write a paper about why teens use products that is inferior to other to another product but they use it because everyone else uses it?

The zipper sure isn't the best invention, it's stung me far to many times.

I'd talk about the communication and networking idea so things like Facebook and Twitter and how the enable people to communicate with friends, the internet in general as a learning and communication tool which has widely been adapted in the classroom and then Facebook/Twitter/mobile phones as a source of information in times of crisis like the bushfire and flood warning system in Australia.

you could talk about the invention of the silcon chip, pretty much every teen uses one (laptop, computer, phone, ipod etc).

Inventions ARE technology. You might wanna talk about computers or electronics instead of "technology".

You could speak about how technology, and especially the technology that younger people uses, works to make communication easier. In some sense technology works its way into oure nature, and expand upon it..Facebook, Titter, even the LTT forum has improved on how we can transfer knowledge beyond oure immediate social surroundings, and reach a world wide collectiv database of knowledge.
