Error after completing my build

What does this mean?

Also, I'm seeing CPU Fan Error when I boot up my computer. When I look at the bios I see one fan in red showing it spinning at about 582rpm.

you might have put cables in wrong port, i mean there's one for case fan as well.

The weird things is that the fan still works. I don't understand that

Maybe your fan is faulty, that rpm is too low.

 

Well, here's the thing.  I don't have anything plugged into the cpu fan header on the mobo.  Here are the instructions, you'll see that it doesn't require me to do that.  I wonder if that's what's cause a red flag, a false red flag.

Do you have a 3 pin fan? If yes, then are you sure it's connected in right way. I mean in my pc i have first pin on my mobo reserved and it attachs to last 3 pin. Do you have it connected this way?

 

I literally followed these exact steps for setting up.  My temps are fine.  I'm at 35c right now

then surely go with the guide provided on their official site, i can't do much now. Just set it bios to ignore low rpm as it said on help page.

 

Well, you definitely helped.  You were right in telling me to check connections.  I should have used the CPU_Fan connector NOT the CPU_OPT connector.  Thanks man!
