Display problems

Go to solution Solved by dandu3,

Well it says it does, but i tried it once and the display didn't showed up, but i might give it another try.

You need to remove the GPU for it to work, or use the BIOS to change it.

Is your motherboard an APU one by any chance?

Alright, so I have a bit weird problem with a Graphics Card.

It all started when i bought the new monitor BenQ GW2320, they gave a VGA cable to the monitor so I just plugged it in and it worked fine for a while. But suddenly, the monitor had only 4 resolution options 800x600,1024x768,1280x1024 and 1600x1200. Also my graphics driver were not responding at all, and in the device manager there was a little yellow triangle next to the GPU.

After a few days of reinstalling drivers and reclamation of the monitor. I've figured that if u support that VGA connector from the GPU (I mean this http://s28.postimg.org/rtguzf0vh/GT630.jpg ) that the 1080p resolution is back and the drivers are working just fine, however if i do that, the computer will work for about 10 minutes, after 10 minutes there will be some weird yellow squares and after around 2 minutes the computer will shutdown... well not exactly shutdown, the computer is technically still running, but i can't see anything or hear anything. Also i tried different VGA cable or even a DVI cable, but that just makes things worst.

It's either a 1600x1200 stretched display with no drivers or 1080p display with drivers for 10 minutes..

    Isn't that a weird problem?

With DVI its even worse, there are basically no colors, just blue and white and the maximum resolution is 800x600.

I'd assume a bad GPU or monitor. Do you still have your old one?

What do they know of England, who only England know?

I'm back, running on the onboard graphics, And it's running just fine.. 1080p is back, the display is clear and sharp, colors are great (I love the IPS) and there are no lines or squares or anything like that. So yeah, i guess I'll be stuck with onboard graphics for some time :/

Anyway thank you so much  ;)
