Yes, you won't get 60fps in all games, but a pair of 290X is capable of playing games in 4K.

 

 

Yes they can handle 4k. You will have turn down some settings though in certain games to get consistent 60fps.

How would I go about doing the two required cable connections though? both through one card or one to each?

only by a few fps and the 780Ti are way more expensive

 

but 4k gaming needs a lot of VRAM buddy

 

those 780Ti can't run 4k Ultra without hitting the VRAM bottleneck

that is true, plus for some reason there is a good price drop and falling prices for everythin right now. Thanks for all yalls help though!!
