Found the problem. The CPU cooler was on too tight :(

I have a rog Maximus formula V . Installed new CPU cooler and now I am getting a Code "55" already tried to switch ram with brand new ram

It can boot but you will need to disable it in the BIOS to stop monitoring th CPU fan

The Error is apparently due to your RAM, 

Enter your BIOS and change the settings to the default. 1600Mhz, if it work increases it to what your MB and RAM support.

How did you place your RAM? are they correct? 

 

Can you give your MB and RAM and other specs,

 

If your MB support MemOK use it, normally a button around RAM that check compatibility.

You can also clean your CMOS, then leave your settings as default and download your latest BIOS update.

Look it up in our motherboard manual

So all you did was change the cooler and then the fault code popped up?

Did you remove the ram? If so, have you triple checked it's seated properly? Have you tried with a single stick?
