Well, I was hoping maybe they had a chance of making a comeback, like if they made the BlackBerry OS just an overlay of Android, so they could have all the apps along with their awesome interface.

They do and will most likely always have one, it may not be the biggest. But there will always be those people who will refuse to use anything but Blackberry.

Meh.  I was hoping to at least see their interface last (personally think that the new BB interface is the nicest) and maybe move on from the whole security thing.

I have never owned a blackberry, but I think it was their first storm that a friend had and asked me to change some settings on... it was terrible. You had to click the entire screen. Hard. That was the deciding factor for me that I would never get their new large screen phone. Before that, I couldnt stand their tiny buttons that no longer had letters on them because they chipped off. Or the scroll wheel that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. And then they went and screwed themselves with their halfbaked tablet. (Like HP, Motorola, and not to mention Microsoft... who is still trying to make up for the almost $1B flop with their 3rd iteration of the Surface... If you don't succeed, try, try again... until you flop -and fire- an entire OS division too.)

 

When everyone was changing to iphone, the only complaints I kept hearing (over and over and over... UGH!) was it didn't have a LED indicator (at first... and it still wasn't RGB) and it didn't shut down on a timer.

I had a curve and while I liked the keyboard on it, everything else sucked. I'd try and update the thing and it'd crash every time, install a new app, bam crash, so It only lasted a few months before I bought an iPhone, this was back 3ish years ago mind. However, love my Nexus 5 now
