The main reasons of the build would be gaming and High Poly sub-surface modelling (z-brush), mainly to pass time when i'm not

programming or sat on my ass thinking of things to do.

Monitor(s) & Peripherals:

Non-needed (already have them from another desktop.

Why am i upgrading?:

Go with an I5 4690K or an I7 4790K and go with either the TRI-X/Vapor-X or Windforce cooler for the 290.

You might consider an Intel build. Could as easily be an i7-4790K but I suspect the 4930K would edge out the 4790K in zbrush.

The build doesn't include a sound card as the on board sound is very good. A single ssd will provide more storage and excellent performance. It can always be divided into multiple volumes if you like to keep things separate.
