Swiftech or EK CPU blocks?

Recently, I've read reviews on Swiftech's Apogee XL and it looks promising.

But according to a friend of mine, EK blocks > Swiftech's block.

So now I'm pretty much stuck in a dilemma. Apogee XL or Supremacy?

Also, anyone had bad experiences with Swiftech's waterblock?

you mainly buy CPU water blocks on aesthetics and price.

the performance difference is margin of error.

go with what looks best in your build not the 2° someone said it is better.

The Koolance CPU-380i will kick both those water blocks asses!

The difference between waterblocks is really small, most of the time you get what's better for aesthetics.

I'd have to agree with the differences being very very small. Though it might be 1 degree but I think it's pretty insignificant? compared to raystorm and stuff.

Well IMO Swiftech's Apogee XL is good for it's perf/price ratio. It's even better than Supremacy by just a little tiny bit.

In terms of aesthetics, Apogee XL wins my heart cause it can suit my theme better. and custom non swiftech branded designs too!

What about quality control? Thanks for the advice :)

Both EK and Swiftech have top notch quality control and product support, they are great companies.

Personally I think XSPC, Heatkiller and Bitspower have the best looking CPU blocks, but everyone has their style.

Anyway whatever of those blocks you end up picking you'll be good, Happy Watercooling :)

Chose which one looks the best to you, they pretty much all perform around the same.
