I'll be replacing my H100 with a Coolermaster 212 EVO as I feel that my H100 is coming to the end of its life. I do need some help with changing my air flow patterns as I don't know what would be best with a 212.

This is what I currently have with my H100:

The two fans on the front are 120mm intake fans, the H100 radiator is in the top with the two 120mm fans. The last fan in the back is a 120mm exhaust.

And this is what the airflow would be like with my 212:

I'll pretty much be taking the 120mm fans off my H100 radiator and putting them on the 212.

Is there anything I should change in this? I do have 2 more 120mm fans lying around, but they're very noisy and I would like to avoid using them at all costs.

So you're downgrading.. With an air cooler you could also do top and front intake, rear exhaust.

I'm not downgrading by choice, I simply don't have the money to get anything better at this current time. And my H100 has been nothing but a pain in my arse since I got it, I think going air would be an upgrade in terms of less hassle and noise.

Also, on AMD boards, the 212 can only be installed vertically, so I can't have it exhausting out the back.

Why not RMA?

Well since you have nothing to lose why not just try to manually fix it?

ok man I see your situation. The evo can be installed horizontally on an amd platform but it is a hassle to get it fit properly. So yes just install it vertically for now. The airflow pattern you showed before is perfectly fine. I also was going to get a liquid cooler by corsair. But i like air cooling and feel really comfortable with it. Theres just sometihng i like about it. But anyways the evo will do the trick for your needs if you have any other questions just ask.

Use the 212 as a rear exhaust aswell, and then just use 1 fan in the top as an exhaust.
