I want to upgrade a system which has just 800mhz corsair ram which clocks itself down to something like 660mhz~ (it is DDR3)(we get a new mobo which supports up to 2400mhz), I need new 8Gb (2x4GB) of ram. It shouldnt be too expensive and at least 1866mhz, just cause the more the better.

or would you recommend me waiting for the prices to drop

Why 1866mhz? 1600mhz is fine and you can oc most 1600mhz chips to 1866 and save some bucks.

It take 5 minutes. Search google for the version of windows. One of the first links will be from Microsoft. Download it, then burn it onto the flash drive. It take about 20 seconds to find the ISO, 2 minutes to set up the bootable flash drive then 30 minutes of letting your computer put it on the drive.

Total time take: less than five minutes.
