I just got the Pentium G3258 and MSI Z97 U3 Plus from the Newegg special, and now when i go into the BIOS to change my ratio, it simply does not bring anything up when I press enter on it.  The option is not greyed out.

Any idea what I need to do?  This is my first OC.

Thanks

Well, immediately after I asked this I got the idea to update the BIOS.  I am in Win 8.1 and the .exe is not letting me run for the BIOS update.

Use Msi ClickBios in Windows to tune your oc.

use the + \ - keys to change the multi

or key it in directly. for example if you want 46 multi type in 46

pressing enter or using the mouse wont do anything.

how much did you overclock it

I got it to 4.2 ghz at 1.18V.  I am just messing around with the stock cooler for the time being, temps were getting above 80 with OCCT and Hardware Monitor, so I backed down.  I am not sure how far to push the temp on it.  I was thinking 75 degrees, then I read this review: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/unlocked/intel-pentium-g3258-review-and-overclocking-benchmarks-idnum298/ and it is getting 85 degrees.

Also, how long should I run OCCT to test max temps?  I ran for 4 minutes or so.

Would a 212 Evo help me get to 4.6 or so with good temps?
