Hello everybody, i have a build, a build about gaming, and i need your evaluations... Can anybody help a little little newbie?

 

PS. i'm not planning on overclocking...

PS 2. main reason is for gaming/recording/twitch streaming

You need faster storage drive for recording. Look for 7200rpm Seagate ones if you want only one drive, WD Blue or Black if you could get 2 or more instead.

Why not oc? --no point going with a zX7 motherboard if you're not going to oc. 

Is value at all an issue? Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

I would go with LoGiCalDrm for this one. You need a powerful storage for that type of a gaming build. Just replace the WD Green to WD Black instead, as the greens are best as backup drives and blacks are meant for gaming.

The psu is too large and could be better quality.

 

Go for the i7-4970K cpu, even if you don't intend to overclock. It is 500MHz faster.

 

Get a Z97 motherboard like the Asus Z97-A.

 

Get a better priced ssd.

 

WD Greens are designed for archival storage. Not for primary desktop storage. I would suggest a WD Blue or Seagate Barracuda.

 

Budget and location would allow for more detailed suggestions.
