The AF140 with the 7v adapter would be quieter and have better airflow so I would go with that.

Hi guys,

I've decided on Aerocool Dead Silence 120/140mm fans (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-aerocool-dead-silence-red-led-fan-dual-material-colour-fdb-fan-121dba) as they are super quiet and for their looks for my H440 build (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gBnTpg).

My question is, do i kit it out with

( A ) 5 x 140mm fans for ultra silence
(1 x rear exhaust, 2 x top exhaust, 2 x front intake)
OR
( B ) 1 x 140mm fan and 6 x 120mm fans
(1 x 140mm rear exhaust, 3 x top 120mm top exhaust, 3 x 120m front intake)

I've got silence in mind, but I also don't want to run too toasty in a case that is already pretty suffocated in terms of airflow.

Can I recommend noiseblocker blacksilent pros from overclockers.co.uk as they are miles better and the DS fans and cheaper. also you don't need to fill every fan spot, have 2 140mm intakes and 1 140mm top exhaust. it will be quieter this way and won't affect temps.

CPU: i7 3770k@ 4.6Ghz@ 1.23v - GPU: Palit GTX 660ti - MOBO: Asrock Extreme 4 - RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz - PSU: OCZ 650watt - STORAGE: 128Gb corsair force GT SSD/ 1TB seagate barracuda 7200rpm

                                                                                         COOLING: NH-U14s/ 3x Noiseblocker blacksilent pros/ Silverstone Air Penetrator/ 2 corsair AF120s

The AeroCool fans are quieter than the Corsair>

Corsair AF140 = Sound Level: 24 dBA

Aerocool DS Edition Fan = Noise : 12v - 14.2 dBA, 7v - 10.8 dBA

I am also getting the AeroCool fans and a H440, I can't wait :D  :D  :D
