I'm 16 and so far I studied C in school and Phyton at home. I know basics of them, but as I won't be learning C in school anymore I would like to learn newer language. I'm currently going in school for electrician, but I would prefer to get a job in programming, as I enjoy it more. I would like to know what are strengths of each language, which one would be easier to find a job and which one would have higher salary. I plan to program in my free time for next 6 years and then try to find a job.

I'm gonna start with me hating C#. I don't bother with it and I really don't think there is any benefit to it. Learn C++ and Java. C++ because its similar and Java because it is VERY useful, Java is used in android app development too.

So Java is my recommendation.

Comb it with a brick

I think I'm going to learn Java, I'll read about it more and for now I just have couple questions:

1. Can you make android apps with C++?

2. How long (in hours) does it take to get "good" with Java (able to create apps that can profit or to get a job with that knowledge) and how much with C++?

1. Yes, but it is very difficult, as Java is the native language for Android.

2. I'm not sure what you mean by that. You can get certifications in both languages, if that's what you mean, but this is not necessary to find a job or even make your own apps. I think that the API you will use for your work is more relevant for a career, rather than the language itself.
