Will 600W be enough?

Go to solution Solved by Darth_Klein,

So here is my setup:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TmJ6qs

I'm also going to add several accessories.

I messaged Corsair and they said that I would need a 650W power supply because the GPU requires 500W

I'm really confused as to why I would need more...

How much do I need?

Will a 600W PSU work well?

Can anyone explain this to me and tell me if my setup uses power efficiently and if 600W gives me some slack?

Thanks

No single GPU needs 500 W of power and like everyone else said 600 W will work for your system.

Then Corsair is lying or dumb. Fucking lol, a 270X needs 500W. It has a TDP of 180W. In the Anandtech and HardOCP reviews they measured the whole systems power with an 3960X and 3770k respectively, both overclocked, and during stress tests with Furmark Anandtech found the system to use less than 300W and HardOCP found the system to use less than 400W.
