4930k and 780Ti or 4790k and 295x2 for 1440p peformance?

Core i7-4790K and the 295X2 though I'd want the 4930K :)

 

I love the 780 Ti but the AMD will perform a lot better at very high resolutions

4930k is useless at gaming.

Neither i7 will help your 1440p performance. If gaming is your main focus then stick to an i5 (4690k) and get the best GPU(s) possible.

No contest. The 295x2 performs similarly to a 780 Ti sli.

At that resolution the cpu more or less becomes redundant as gaming at that resolution is more gpu dependent.
4790k and 295x2 ftw.

295x2 performs WAY better than 780 ti sli
