This was just a CPU-Z validation.

I can't get this to stabilized with this terrible mobo lol...

Ah them lower end chips just arent good clockers really.

My 200ge and 220ge Ryzen Athlons where the same.

I did get mine colder, got about 4.4ghz from them at best.

Decent OC, nothing to be ashamed of. Not your fault low end silicon.

saddest part is that the temp is only 38.5C.
The motherboard just can't take in power to the point where the CPU heats up XD

Why not? I used Asus B450 M-A. Funkin board was a Pos. Especially for overclocking.

Mine went under the TEC, was -25-30c idle. Don't think it ever even got to above 0 temps honestly.

220ge. https://valid.x86.fr/idzpyr

The 200ge from memory was 42xxmhz.

A little bit high on the voltage. Try closer to 1.30v manually input.

Crap I was looking at your Vccio voltage at the top. Is that on auto?

1.2v-1.250v for Vccio and Vccia should be ok. Shouldnt need more than that.

I've tried to stress test it at 4.5GHz, but it fails after 40 minutes, so I had to dial it back a bit. Overall really happy with what the results that I've got.

@MeltyMoon

I can has my name in green? :D

I think your settings were wrong, mine is unlocked.

What i don't understand is why everyone is asking for AIDA or other stress to run for hours, Linpack is doing the best in the first 5mins, my CPU for example is passing all tests except linpack even at 4.5, when running linpack it will die in the 1st 10s.

Can you point out what settings are wrong and what is this "wrong" thing you're talking about.

1st is the statement from the drive db, 2nd: you have increased the strap but this CPU has an unlocked multiplier.

"It can a bit, but only through base clock (BCLK) and most can only get to like 105MHz" is partial true, 1620V3 is multiplier locked, 1650v3 is unlocked, lucky me i got one for 80USD.

The 105MHz base clock was from my other Xeon, which isn't unlocked, and the highest that can go up to was only 105MHz, when I tried to OC. Default base clock starts out at 100Mhz, It was a 2620 v3. All single socket 2011 v3 CPUs are unlocked. It's those that are dual socket like the 2620 v3, are locked. The increase in strap was from setting the memory's XMP profile. When selected, it automatically bumps up to 125MHz. Got your CPU for $80, that's awesome.

Sure - Same reason folks climb a mountain - Because they can.

Speaking of such, here's my latest - Done earlier today.

I believe I'll be the first with a 9700K in this data base. CBR20 & CBR15.CB_R20_-_Highest_Score_-_9700K_5Ghz.thumb.PNG.b7e0d426c6abdd80c60507f13e7a3fe2.PNGCB_R15_-_Highest_Score_v2_-_9700K_5Ghz.thumb.PNG.fa374794f3cc06b190482d8a69e140c8.PNG

I've never posted here in this thread. Don't know if I'm doing it right. I have such limited time these days. Just sat down and decided to post results. Hopefully it's enough. I don't have a screenshot of any sort of time based benchmark, but I've been using this system at it's max overclock for a month now for folding@home with no issues. I suppose I can't prove it, so take it as you will. I just figured I'd dick around with this thing again for a while while the wife is in the hospital. It seems I scored well on XTU/HWBOT. Anyway. since almost nobody has this processor I figure if nothing else, it's interesting.844303528_Screenshot(10).thumb.png.757a2a146eeac75e8d2eb9f9182dc908.png

3200G is really similar to 2200G if you want to count that XD

I also overclocked my 2200G on Gigabyte Aorus M, it was a really pain in ass since it only allowed voltage offset while not having a single good voltage sensor..

Like it reported 1.3125V (set through Ryzen Master) as 1.280V (CPU-Z and HWmonitor).

I was able to push my 2200G to 4.0 GHz at 1.3875V (not stable at any other voltage), so I donwclocked to 3.9GHz and set the Dynamic Vcore to auto since appling any offset was giving me an unstable system... FK

I have mine overclocked on an MSI x470 Gaming Pro Carbon board, I had it at 4GHz at 1.4v on the stock cooler, and am swapping it out for a better air cooler (the Wraith Prism), which is still sort of a stock cooler, and I'm going to try going to something like 4.2GHz. Over on HWBOT I saw the records for air cooling were in that range, so we will see what I can manage. I'll post here once i get is setup and stable.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X | Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon | RAM: 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHz | GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1660 Ventus 6GB OC | PSU: Corsair CX750M Semi Modular 80+ Bronze | Storage: Kingston A400 480GB SSD and WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD

Comic Sans FTW.

I also pushed mine from 3.9 to 4.0 GHz at 1.3875V. I am also changing the stock cooler with Deepcool Gammax GTE v2 and then will push the iGPU to 1650MHz. I've set the voltage to auto since my motherboard only gives option to offset which is really tricky. At auto, it gives 1.380-1.400V. :D
