Seems like a decent choice, and many regard the GTX 660 as the best fps per dollar card out there. However, GTX 7xx is coming out in the next few weeks, and there may be better options. If you are getting the card in December, I would definitely wait and see what the options are.

It's good for it's price if you need CUDA.

The prices will drop cosiderably over half year span, especially since gtx 700 series will be introduced as early as this month (  gtx 780 first i belive ), then other 7xx to follow, and in december AMD will present its 22nm based 9000 series ( they skipped 8000 ).
