How much is your car worth that they'll steal only the dashcam?

Heh...every time we park our car in Manhattan or in a garage we take the radar detector and hide it either in the side pocket on the door or in the glove box under the passenger seat...we drive either a 2004 Mercedes ML500 or a 2010 (I think?) Acura TSX (the TSX doesn't have a glove box under the seat).

That's New York. Personally I hate Mercedes' though, ugly cars and annoying people drive them.

Good engines tho...even our SUV can accelerate FAST...how do you think we pull onto the Belt Pkwy (people do 45-60) with only a 300ft approach? (plus it merges right onto the highway when the divider ends and you have to stop at the merge.)

I love my F-150 because holy shit does it get to 100 fast. Bad turbo lag when you floor it (fun for burnouts ) but once that things a-goin' you're off. I need to take it to the track here and see how fast it'll do a quarter mile. The question becomes, 2H, 4H, or 4L for that.

Our 500 has never went above 90 MPH, and hasn't even sustained 90 because state troopers in the Northeast are real strict. Normally we do about 70-85 MPH, and IIRC it has 145K miles on it, it's been from NY to southern Florida 3 times and Toronto about 9 times, it went to Quebec once.

Probably talking 100 km/h which is normal Highway speeds (100-110 km/h on most highways) in Canada, or just doesn't care =P

never drive a three ton truck at 100 with 50 mph winds.

Our Mustang has 185k on it and we've taken it across the country (CA to MA) at least a dozen times, and went mudding with it in the New Hampshire mountains in the winter. I'm surprised I haven't been pulled over here in Texas for speeding when I was driving back here.

It's a $3000 car but it can't be hotwired since it won't run without the chip in the key and most people around here would rather break the window, take whatever looks valuable and run.
