Uses: Gaming, recording games, and editing them 

 

Monitors: I have 2 1080p's one for gaming, 1 for chat and other things. 

 

Peripherals: I have a gaming mouse pad, black widow, and kraken pro's. would like death adder included in price. 

 

Upgrading From: My computer right now is a core i3 dual core, 8 gb of ram, 500gb hard drive, and a Nvidia 650ti 2Gb. Will give this rig to my bro for his b-day, he only plays Minecraft so it should be good for him.

 

Preferences: Intel, Nvidia, Green themed, Quiet, Watercooled (AIO), Mid tower case (I like the corsair 450D)

You would accually be supprised, i dont know about the clock speed, but a i3 will only run minecraft at around medium setting at 60 fps, which is totally playable. Heck, i ran at low setting @ 23 fps on my "craptop"

really? weird, whats the clock speed? also are u running offical releases? (like 1.7.4) or snapshots too, because i get 260+ fps on 1.7.4 and only 60-80 on snapshot releses

3.3GHz, running 1.7.9 and occasionally the snapshots.

ahhhhh kk the i3 i tryed was at like 2.4ghz, Minecraft is hevely dependent on clock speed. minecraft uses 2 cores and basicly anything above 3.2ghz is can run at max. btw whats ur frame rate like?
