Hello

I have a Dell Vostro 230, and wanted to transform it into more of a gaming computer.

I started by buying a new graphics card, the MSI 650 ti.

I was about to install it and realized the current power supply doesn't have a 6 pin connecter.

So, I need to upgrade the PSU but I don't know which ones will be compatible with the Vostro 230 case.

I would like the PSU to be about 500 GB, and around $30-$40. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I've already upgraded to 4 GB of RAM and plan on upgrading the CPU/MoBo in the future.

Sorry...I meant 500 watts.

And that PSU is $5 cheaper on NCIX, so after the rebate it would only be $20. THat will work great.

Thanks

The CX500 would be a good power supply for your computer. If you want a modular and better quality power supply, I would recommend the SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W or the SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W (80+ gold).
