What Changes Would/Could You Make? STRICT $250 BUDGET

With a strict budget of $250 USD, i don't have a whole heck of a lot of cash to work with. I'll be scrounging up parts i already own to make this build happen, but that only gets me so far. This being said, you MUST use the MoBo and HDD. This build is meant for 720p gaming on titles like ArmA 2/DayZ Mod(under 30FPS is fine), CS:GO, CoD WAW, Upcoming CoD and BF titles like Advanced Warfare and Hardline respectively, and fighting games like KoF 13 and MK9. Details can be turned down to compensate for bad hardware, but resolution can't. I've only got the one monitor, so surround is no issue. Peripherals aren't necessary at this point in time, but will likely be swapped out when funds allow. The reason i'm upgrading is simply put as this: I can't play most of my small steam library AT ALL. Both because my hardware sucks, and i'm only Linux because of hardware failures. Windows is not needed as i have 64-bit 8.1 on my old hard drive.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qDQTzy

If you can help, then thank you :)
If you can't help, then thanks for looking at it at the very least :)
If you're here to tell me to save my money or that the system's crap no matter what, then i already know that and i've been saving my money...

due to MOBO restriction I can't suggest much better processor wise...Case and PSU you're getting at great deals... GPU I'd suggest a 260x for like 10 bucks more you'll get some more power.

Find a cheap 7770 or as stated above a 260x. Both those cards shit on a 650 and with low res gaming they will pull pretty nice frame rates.

i disagree. System use with 8.1 is fine with 3 GB of DDR2, so why should 4 GB of DDR3 be worse? also, my brother's machine has a 1x4 GB kit of Gskill Ripjaws X in his machine and it runs beautifully considering the hardware

I constantly run into RAM constraints, but if you're not doing much multitasking I suppose it would be fine.

the closest thing i do to multitasking is run about 5 chrome tabs :P

Most of the time, i'm using only one thing at a time, or WoW and Teamspeak. It's not likely to be an issue

Yea if you just close all programs before playing a game 4GB should suffice for the most part. I personally have 20-40 tabs open on chrome at any given time with 8GB DDR3 but during a game of League of legends i sometimes get a message telling me my computer is low on memory and i need to close this program to prevent memory loss so i have to then close chrome. First world problems i know, But it can get annoying.

Haha. I open 30 Chrome tabs and my computer starts to chug. Bad. I stopped using it as a result.

It sure can! My next build is definitely getting 16gb of RAM. No question.

Hah yup same. What sucks is a few months ago i seen a 2X4GB kit of Corsair vengeance blue (The exact same as what i have now) on craigslist for $45. At the time i thought "meh i paid only $40 for mine why do i need more memory". Now i'm sitting here contemplating whether or not i should spend $80 on another kit lol.

If i had more than one monitor, you'd be damn sure i put at LEAST 8 GB(and just a better system). I can see it now...Facebook and LTTF on one monitor, CS:GO on the next, and twitter on the last

oh how a man can dream :P

I forgot to mention, but the CPU MUST be Sandy Bridge. if i'm correct, that G2030 won't work without a BIOS flash that i can't do

Just curious but why can't you update your bios?

no CPU to post with. all i have is the MoBo. if i'm correct, H61 chipsets won't recognize Ivy Bridge CPU's out of the box.

It passed PCPartPicker's compatibility filter...

Why wouldn't you be able to do a BIOS flash?

Edit: Ah sorry just read your last post. Here:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/M763mG

Better processor, faster graphics card, cheaper PSU. That's as good as you're going to get.
