Does newegg apply tax?

Does newegg apply tax to Canadian orders on newegg Canada, because ncix charges tax and my 400$ order will be 450$ whit shipping and tax

NCIX taxes for me are only 5%, so it'd be $420

I'm not sure about Canada, but you could always put a random item in your cart, take it all the way through checkout just before you officially order it, and see if tax got added.

Any online company can apply tax but this is only if the product is from a state or is going to a state or country that has a tax on the specific item.
