What are the errors in G:\?

Also You try sector check with HD Tune (free version) on all HDDs, it's useful to prevent data corruption

also which one is the SSD? or are you using the integrated SSD in the SSHD as cache? Did you defrag the SSD (NEVER do that...)?

And looking at the seek error rate, that might explain that poor performance and it's an indicator that in a future the head would stuck

no idea what you mean by sector check, ive never used this, where is this?

i dont have an ssd, i think my primary is a hybrid

If it shows damaged sectors then you'd do a backup as soon as you can.

If it doesn't, try running MC (installing java and all that crap, don't forget to change MC files folder too in the launcher) in a different drive (different than C:\ and H:\ (SSHD)). That SSHD has a bad head, you'd get a different drive or RMA it.

sadly same result, test seems good so far

Then install java in a different drive and move mc folders too.

No data damage danger but that head is causing that low speeds, that messes up chunk loading causing low framerate

i installed minecraft into a different hdd (was still 20fps) but i will now try java too.

-Try this, http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=13.12#amd-catalyst-packages

There was some problems with some AHCI drivers, but I don't think it'd cause that gross framedrop

-Check if mc files are read only, if they're, unmark read only.

-When did this started to happen

you want me downgrade?

-will try that

-once i got the r9 270x, even my 8800gt was better
