lol!  Samsung and their cheaty Benchmark scores!  They think they can fool people by faking benchmarks on the Galaxy Phones??!?  And now they think they can they can trick people into thinking their 6GB/s SSD's are 31GB/s!  Lie!

Though out of all seriousness, that is quite funny.  I almost jumped out of my seat at those scores and then I realized "Oh, the 840 Evo is sata 6GB/s..."

not trusting samsung software anymore

Mate, I got the 840 evo cuz it was good.  Knowing samsung the drive probably has a purposely made exploit in the firmware allowing the NSA to bypass hardware encryption.  I hate Samsung as a company! They are so stupid, so greedy, so spoilt and their galaxy s3 was just a one off, they are so lazy to even invent more crazy things so they go with the same freaking phone every freaking year!  that tells you allot about the company.

People who know their Android skin is the worst in the history of the world and so they want to lock it down so you are forced to use their crappy skin and their crappy software.

Wow, they botched one little part of their software once with one update and you people are swarming like vultures, god that's sad.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

They're a massive company, Quality Control either wasn't a thing or they're just being typical Samsung.

This i despise Samsung as a company, but I'd put this down as a bug.

Bugs slip through testing all the time especially stuff like this. It will probably be patched quick enough.

Basically hating on them for this is just stupid.

Considering a sub 0.05% failure rate on their SSDs compared to for example 0.37% for Intel, 1,12% for Crucial, 1,61% for Corsair and 6,64% for OCZ I'd say they have fantastic quality control, if not the best in the entire industry when it comes to SSDs. You're just hating aimlessly against an immaginary villain.

Bare in mind that the SATA3 spec is 6Gb/s not 6GB/s, that's gigabits not gigabytes. Therefore the theoretical limit of SATA 3 would actually be around 768MB/s, but you still have to factor in protocol and other forms of overhead, so the actual achievable transfer speeds are even less than that.

I'm referring to their software, not their SSD's. No one doubts the quality of their SSD's.
