Videos have inverted color?

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

It didn't fix anything, however I managed to fix the videos in Chome, I had to disable hardware acceleration, VLC still is inverted however

hmm

under VLC player go to preferences

under Video Tab look for the Accelerate Video Output

un-check on the option if it is active

edit:

beside it there is another option

Use Hardware YUV -> RGB conversion

un-check that and see if it helps

Lately my .mp4, avi, any video on facebook, and some but not all videos on youtube have inverted color. Peoples skin is blue, and water is orange. When I open a video I recorded in a game for example in VLC, the colors are inverted, but if I load it in Sony Vegas the video is fine. The videos that are inverted online happen while in Chrome. It seems like it is a codec issue but I don't have any idea what codec could be causing it. Any help would be appreciated

try this

http://www.cccp-project.net/

download their codec

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Accelerate Video Output didn't solve it, but unchecking Use hardware YUV-RGB conversions did  :)
