I also have a lot of stuff I've used for Security+, MCTP, A+, Net+, ITIL, and CEH. About 16 gigs total of prep mats and vces. Keep in mind that comptia is rewriting a lot of the tests, those vces are going to become obsolete soon.

This is the CompTIA A+ resource kit I had when I got my A+ certificate http://www.ecampus.com/ultimate-comp.../9781435454910. Very good book :) I have the 2006 edition though I graduated college in 2009 :)

I got certified last year, and one of the best ways to pass the comptia is lots of practice tests. The problem is you can know all the info, but the way the test is, you have to know HOW to answer their questions. I know several IT know-it-alls who walked in and barely failed because of the stupid "customer service" and "safety" questions that have some BS answers. Trial and error with practice tests I found was the best way to really nail those off-the-wall questions.

Thanks for the good garbeth and pryor for that info. Wish I had the money for the tests.

Wow they are very strict on that dl stuff, but at least it doesn't take 50 mins like it said lol. Guess I'll dl the other one in 25 mins like it told me.
