I'm about to buy this ssd.

Says 250$ off. http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-Adapter-SV300S37A-240G/dp/B00A1ZTZNM/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1404228729&sr=1-2&keywords=Ssd

I'm very tempted but something seems fishy.

I'll wait for some one to warn me if there's something screwed up with this.

If no negative replies within 3 hours.. I'm buying this.

That's the price they are going for. The $250 off just means it is $250 less than what it was when they first started selling it, it's done to make you think you're getting a good deal. And it is from amazon, you rarely have a concern when ordering from there.

Yeah, Kingston kinda pulled a bait and switch with their SSDs.

Still, that's not even the cheapest SSD you could get at that capacity - here's a cheaper one for you: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-drive-ct256mx100ssd1 Plus, it'll likely be faster than that Kingston one.

Yea, don't get that. You can get a Samsung EVO for $10 more (sometimes less than that if on sale) and it is faster and more reliable.
