I don't want to use Wifi, but I can't get an ethernet cord to my room. What is the best Powerline Adapter? I don't know much about networking and stuff.

Thanks.

They're all just as good really. There's some with more features like a power pass through, but I've used many and I've only seen neglectable differences. I'm running D-Link and TP-Link powerline adapters in my house (you can mix and match brands) and they all work almost identical.

Would something like this work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704165  and what is the difference between 500mbps and 200mbps?

Depends on the distance. If you're using it in adjacent rooms then AV200 will give you around 50Mbps and AV500 will give you something closer to 70Mbps. If you add more distance it'll get to the point where they're both running at ~35Mbps. Also there's cost. AV200 is generally quite a bit cheaper. Like impulse buy cheap.

Which one do you recommend? 200mbps, 500mbps, 600mbps. I live in a small 1 story house.

Well if it was me buying a powerline adapter now? I'd go for AV600. Should be able to get above 100Mbps which is plenty of headroom for most applications. If you have to pick between AV200 and AV500 but... go with whatever you can get a better deal on. AV600 is actually quite a decent leap in terms of real world performance, AV500 and AV200 in practise aren't that different from one another. Other than that just buy for price and features.
