Graphics issue?

Hey there guys, I have a macbook pro 15 inch with the gt 750m, I just bought payday 2 and I can only play it on 1280x800 on med settings. Is there something wrong with my laptop? I used to play AC4 1920x1200 med settings, but since yesterday my laptop just stays bloody hot and fans keep running after I play payday, and even DOTA(which has never lagged before) lags! What is wrong?!?

 

Even after I stop playing games the fans still run like crazy and the laptop is hot as ****

also i think the nvidia laptop graphis card is equal to a 650 

 

but it should be lagging in dota,

No nothing happened, it only started yesterday.

Dust buildup, you might have downloaded some malware, or something if you do a lot of downloading.. Can't really think of much

Nah didn't download anything except payday 2 on steam

you made sure to have the recent drivers

 

get a temp program maybe something like CPU ID`s HWMonitor

Get something to read your computers temp, its more than likely a overheating issue
